Dr. Bianka Siwińska has been appointed to the Digitalization Council

Dr. Bianka Siwińska, the President of the Perspektywy Educational Foundation and Perspektywy Women in Tech, has been appointed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawkowski to the Digitalization Council.

The Chairperson of the Council for Digital Affairs is Dr. Agnieszka Jankowska, Vice President of the Management Board of the Digital Poland Foundation, a member of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland, and a member of the Council of the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications – PIIT.

The Council also includes:
Dr. Hab. Katarzyna Kopczewska – Professor at the University of Warsaw at the Faculty of Economic Sciences (WNE UW) in the Department of Data Science,
Katarzyna Szymielewicz – President of the Panoptykon Foundation.

“We are committed to effective cooperation with the best experts in the market. I am glad that four wonderful specialists, known for their dedication, knowledge, and professionalism, have agreed to join the Council. I believe that the new members of the Council will help us identify the future as well as the opportunities and threats it brings,” emphasized the Minister of Digital Affairs.

And the opportunity to propose key directions for the development of the country in the field of new technologies,” said Dr. Bianka Siwińska. “The new Council focuses on wise, innovative, and socially sensitive courses of action. On Women, on STEM/IT competencies and talents from Poland and the East. On education and research in the field of quantum technologies. Poland as a European IT Hub, on migrant women from Ukraine as a huge potential for skilled workers in technological companies. We also aim to promote knowledge about the possibilities of a technological career in public service. So that the solutions and security of Digital Poland are created by the best. We want transparency and a new quality of communication with all stakeholders. Oh, and I almost forgot: our new composition has replaced a total of three gentlemen… IN THE ERA OF DIGITIZATION, THE TIME FOR WOMEN HAS COME!”
