Head of Project Portfolio

 

We are looking for a Head of Project Portfolio to join our team. The role involves managing a portfolio of social and technological projects (approximately 10). Each year, we execute numerous projects in collaboration with technological and public partners, aimed at increasing the presence of women in technology, science, and innovation. Many of these projects are boutique, local, focused on marginalized communities, and on talent development. Concurrently, we work year-round on our flagship event, the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit in Warsaw, which in 2024 welcomed 14,000 attendees from over 100 countries. Effective management of the project portfolio, combined with ensuring team well-being and exploring further development opportunities, are key competencies we seek.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience: Minimum four years of experience managing small to medium-sized project teams (5 to 30 people) and projects, including events and conferences.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a multi-project environment, planning and organizing team work, coordination, result analysis, learning from experiences, as well as optimizing work and setting task priorities, synchronizing tasks in time and space.
  • Project Management: Skills in leading projects from concept through implementation and documenting results.
  • Initiative: Demonstrates initiative, provides solutions, inspires and supports others, and actively participates in problem-solving.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage personal and team time effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and develop relationships.
  • Work Environment: Experience working in hybrid, dispersed, and international environments.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in office software, especially Excel.
  • Advantages: Ability to build a vision and strategic management skills, as well as creativity for organizational development.
